As a Richmond wedding photographers, we sometimes have the opportunity to work with families more than once. In this case, we had done Donnie’s brother’s wedding 4 years ago. When he and Rachel approached us to shoot their wedding we couldn’t of been more excited! We love this family! Not to mention, Rachel, her friends and family! The day began at the two story bridal suite in the Delta Hotels by Marriott. The atmosphere was relaxed and filled with laughter the whole morning. The ceremony and reception were at Tredegar Iron Works downtown. It made a great back drop for their ceremony and for portraits of them afterward. We took advantage of it’s close proximity to the new T. Tyler Potterfield Bridge for some more portraits. Then it was time for the reception. We have seen our fair share of receptions, this one was epic! We had an absolute blast partying with them late into the evening. Donnie is one of the best dancers we’ve ever seen, grooms rarely have moves like this! Everybody, including Grandma, were on the dance floor the entire night! Enjoy a look at their amazing wedding!
